The OpenWindows Augmented Compatibility Environment (OWacomp) makes it possible to use the older OpenWindows Deskset environment on Solaris 9 and 10. It is also useful for people who need to compile XView, OLIT, or DevGuide applications.

Re: *.dump file
Sorry about the 'very' late reply. The 'dump' file is just an ufsdump file of the build tree. There were just too many nested directories and files to use a zip file. That's why the released binaries are simple zip files and also why the build tree is a zipped ufsdump file (extract with ufsrestore -xvf and be patient. :) ).

Vincent

Open Windows augmented
Thanks for a fantastic "rescue" software. I have a large graphical system written in XWindows and OWa saved my butt.
*.dump file
Hello Coyote,
Thanks for a great package.
What am I suppose to do with the .dump file that is in the 1.0b5 release?
Thanks.
