pcal and lcal
Pcal prints nice-looking PostScript (or HTML) calendars (in monthly or yearly formats) and has a wide variety of useful options. Its real power is its ability to create personalized calendars by marking 'events' (e.g. holidays, birthdays, paydays, etc.) and by adding EPS images (photos, icons, etc.). Lcal generates full-year, colorized lunar calendars in a one-page or two-page format.

Changes: This release provides a new one-page uncompressed format and fixes a few bugs, including two in the timezone handling. It now provides support for compilation under various DOS environments (DOS, DJGPP, CygWin) and provides better PostScript output for previewer applications.

Changes: This version adds the ability to delete calendar events, somewhat minimizes the changes required to use EPS image/icon files, adds some new character encodings, supports some new languages (Czech, Hungarian, and Catalan), improves support for Russian, Latvian, and Lithuanian languages, adds a new Perl script for generating calendars via an HTML/CGI interface, adds some new sample calendar event files, adds some new character encoding/font test files, and fixes all known bugs from the previous releases.
