PCLinuxOS
PCLinuxOS is an English-only GNU/Linux distribution that runs entirely from a bootable CD without installing anything on your computer. Data on the CD is decompressed on the fly, allowing up to 2GB of programs on one CD, including a complete X server, KDE desktop, OpenOffice.org, Thunderbird, Firefox, P2P file sharing, and much more, all preconfigured and ready to use. In addition to the liveCD mode, you can also install PCLinuxOS to your hard drive using an easy-to-use liveCD installer.

Changes: This version features kernel 2.6.18.8, KDE 3.5.6, OpenOffice.org 2.2.0, Firefox 2.0.0.3, Thunderbird 2.0, FrostWire, KTorrent, Amarok, Flash, Java JRE, Beryl 3D, and much more. Almost 2 GB of software is included.

Changes: Wireless detection and configuration were improved. Wacom tablet support and additional hardware detection were added. The configuration tools need more work.

Changes: This is an update for the liveCD with fixes for various issues found after the release of preview 9. A new 2.6.11-oci12 kernel was added. Xorg was updated. The PCLOS Control Center was updated to fix some configuration utilities. A new kdeusb disk key setup was added for using the guest account on a usbkey disk. The installer now checks to make sure you have enough space on the primary partition to do a complete install. The liveCD was fully updated from Synaptic.
