peak-o-mat is a curve fitting program. It was designed to fit spectroscopic data but should be suited for any other fitting task. It allows for clearing, transforming, fitting, calibrating, etc. of spectra with few mouse clicks and can easily be extended by writing modules.

Changes: Usability and speed were improved significantly, several modules were added, and many bugs were fixed. In addition to the source code and Python distutils packages, a standalone binary package for Windows is now available.


Changes: Most of the components have been completely rewritten. It is faster, more robust, has more features, and is easier to extend.


Changes: This is a pre-release of peak-o-mat 1.0. The GUI has been completely redesigned and the code has been cleaned up. Support for Numeric has been dropped in favour of numpy 1.0. New features can be added easily by writing your own modules. The fit now includes confidential intervals for the parameters, and error weights may be specified.


Changes: The new numpy/scipy is now supported along with the old Numeric/scipy. The voigt peak shape no longer depends on an extension module. Several bugs were fixed.


Changes: Some bugs entered into the last release that made work impossible.
