PKGsummon
PKGsummon is a GTK+2.2-based utility designed for keeping up to date packages (.tgz) on a Linux Slackware system. Package names are gathered from an FTP server and grouped in a tree view with different symbols to allow quick version comparison.

Changes: This is the sixth stable version. This release ensures correct behavior with GLib and GTK 2.4.0. It also adds the "worldwide-requested" search box for browsing installed packages. Furthermore, code has been rewritten in many small files for future planning.

Changes: This release was mainly intended for addressing a problem with FILE_LIST parsing, but it also comes with some additions like a new package icon for packages which have the same version/architecture but different build number. There's also a ready-to-go list of Slackware mirrors and a keep-connection-alive function, both available in preferences.

Changes: This is the fifth stable version. It is now possible to review installed packages and read the size, description, and a list of files installed for each package. There's also a new package icon for packages available on FTP which have the same version of those installed on the system, but a different arch/build.

Changes: This is the fourth stable version. Support for an "extra" package set has been added, and there's a new option for retrieving package names by using the FILE_LIST file available on FTP servers.
