Changes: This release adds support for authentication, the ability to launch or quit applications directly, and a new hex editor for editing data values. It significantly updates the appearance, fixes bugs, and more.

Changes: A bug where canceling when asked to save could cause Pref Setter to crash was fixed. A bug was fixed where dragging or pasting a "defaults write..." string that has a domain that doesn't already exist would create an unwritable domain. A bug where doing a reverse search in a plist document would actually return all items was fixed. A bug where removing all the text in a search in a plist document would cause the search field to stop working was fixed.

Changes: A bug where editing integer types could cause the editing to "freeze" and lead to a crash on quit was fixed. A bug where moving the mouse over the tab bar could cause a crash after closing a tab was fixed. A bug where a dragged/pasted item would seem to disappear was fixed. When dragging items, Pref Setter now draws a slightly transparent background behind them. When dragging or pasting an item, Pref Setter now scrolls to the item. The Help documentation was updated. Pref Setter now requires Mac OS X 10.3 or later.

Changes: You can now drag to paste a "defaults write ..." string into Pref Setter. Drag and drop on tabs was implemented. You can now undo past a save. Pref Setter's identifier was changed from com.dreamstatic.prefSetter to net.nightproductions.prefSetter. The crashing on window close bug on multiprocessor machines was fixed. A problem was fixed where closing a tabbed window with unsaved changes could display the dialog asking if you want to save your changes more than once for any given document.

Changes: A bug that was accidentally introduced with the last update was fixed. When opening items in the "System Preferences" portion, if there was a similarly named preference in the user preferences (like NSGlobalDomain), it would open the user preference rather than the system preference. The Find panel problems (i.e. the "Find" button staying disabled) were fixed. Another bug that could cause Pref Setter to crash when closing document windows on some systems was fixed.
