Auto Project Planner
Auto Project Planner automatically calculates a proper project plan based on your effort estimations and the due dates you have in mind. A list of tasks and a list of employees can be defined. Tasks can be assigned to one or more employees. It is also possible to define a maximum percentage value an employee can/should work on a task. Public holidays, leaves, weekly working hours, and more parameters can be specified and are considered in the calculation. According to this input, the software computes time plans by minimizing the MSE (mean squared error) between expected and computed end dates.

Changes: With this version, XML has replaced the old binary file format, and a complete code refactoring has been made.

Changes: It is possible to arrange tasks and workers. The drag and drop problem is fixed and the GUI has been reworked.

Changes: It is much easier to keep your project plans up to date. Information about what happened in your task (from the beginning until today) can be set. In previous versions, you always had to redefine the task estimation as it would begin today. Additionally, this version contains a second calculation method for shorter time projects.

Changes: The color of newly created tasks couldn't be changed, and thus no color was used in the calculation output diagram. This and some other smaller bugs were fixed.

Changes: Some smaller bugs in the previous beta version are fixed. Improvements have been to the GUI and the graphical output of the calculation results.
