PSCafe is a POS (Point of Sale) system for school cafeterias. It integrates with SIS systems like PowerSchool (which replaces Powerlunch) and the Pentamation Student Information System. It takes into account free and reduced lunches and student credit. It has a Parent Access Portal that allows parents to view what their child is eating and its nutritional content. It also has a management portal that allows for item management, reporting, etc.

Recent releases


Changes: This release improves performance for the client and server. It will allow the database to hold many more records without slowing down POS performance.


Changes: Web based student management was added with a bit of AJAX. The ability to add an item to an order by scanning the item's barcode was added. Tapping the credit button will add the remaining balance to the credit buffer. The "Info Messages" were made easier to dispose for touch screen monitors.


Changes: PSImageDownload was added to allow Powerschool Users to pull all Student photos out of Powerschool.


Changes: This release adds support for the PostgreSQL Database, support for a Web server to run on Windows, and a table prefix.
