The Qmail virus scanner (QScan) is a mail filter for Qmail that scans incoming messages using the Sophos Antivirus engine, immediately rejecting infected content. It is designed to be minimalistic, yet extremely fast and secure, and uses multiple pipes instead of the traditional temporary files and privilege separation. It works with non-native versions of the virus scanner (such as under OpenBSD with Linux or FreeBSD emulation).

Changes: This version has minor RFC conformance improvements, and always scans all attachments, regardless of their extension.

Changes: This release fixes a compilation issue on some GNU/Linux distributions. If the previous version works for you, there's no need to upgrade.

Changes: QScan now tries to enforce a concurrency limit for virus scanning. To protect against unwanted CPU hogs, mails with suspect attachments and coming from remote sources are now delayed when too many scanners are already running.
