Changes: A bug was fixed, related to missing headers that prevented the program from compiling in some platforms.

Changes: The code has been refactored and cleaned up extensively to ease maintenance and bugfixes. The cursor-flickering bug has been fixed, color-space conversion has been corrected, detection of compositing window managers has been improved, and libjack is now linked normally during compilation instead of being dlopened later.

Changes: Encoded files now include an Ogg skeleton bitstream and have the .ogv extension (as per the latest Xiph.org recommendations, over the use of the Ogg container format ).

Changes: This release has configurable, global shortcuts and the ability to rescue (encode later) crashed sessions. It now draws a frame that surrounds the capture area (this functionality existed on the front-ends, but it was a lot less accurate). Many bugs of varying seriousness were fixed.

Changes: This version corrects some critical bugs, removes the need for Xdamage to be present even when it is not used, and introduces a new feature titled follow-mouse, where the capture area can follow the mouse cursor as it moves.
