Renoise is a contemporary digital audio workstation (DAW) based upon the heritage and development of MOD tracker software. Its primary use is the composition of music using samples, (in WAV, AIFF, FLAC, Ogg, and MP3 format), plug-ins, and MIDI sequencing of VSTi/AudioUnits soft synths.

Changes: ReWire is fully supported on Windows and Mac OS X. Jack transport is supported on Linux only. Decoupled sequencer playback is now possible. Live pattern triggering was added. The Hydra Device allows you to automate, change, or broadcast multiple FX parameters with a single parameter. The Keytracking Device modulates parameters depending on an instrument's key/note value. The MIDI Control Device replaces the old "MIDI-CC Device", finally offering Pitchbend, Channel Pressure, Program Change, and regular controller (CC) in a single device.
