rioutil is a utility designed for the use of interfacing with Sonic Blue/dnna's third, fourth, and fifth generations of flash MP3 players (Rio 600/800/900/S-Series/Riot/Cali/Chiba/Fuse and Nike psa[play). On many players, it goes beyond the packaged software by providing downloading.

Hmmm, the corruption problem again. Unfortunatly, due to the inconsistancy of the appearance of this bug (works fine with my 800 and 600 under linuxppc-2.4.18 and os 10.1.2) I don't think I will be able to fix this bug anytime soon.
As for documentaion of the protocol.. I have been intending to write that for some time now, so once I have some free time I will post it.

Nice utility, I have some issues using it with my new Rio 800.
When I send a bulk update I get corruption and I only seem able to transfer about 6 songs. I would love to see a more in depth explanation of the commands and maybe a document on the protocol used by Rio.
I am using rioutil 1.0.9a under Mandrake 8.1.
