Roxen WebServer
Roxen WebServer is a complete Web server. It is platform-independent, modular, and features a version with strong 128/168-bit encryption. Add-on products for information retrieval, visitor behavior analysis, and powerful tools for application development offering connectivity to databases are available. Altogether the Roxen Platform is a secure Web-based workgroup solution for time and cost-efficient content and Web site management.

Changes: This release has moved to Pike 7.8 and has full 64-bit and poll device support. Moved to MySQL 5.0. Support for IPv6 and SNMP was added. The protocol cache can now continue to deliver stale cache entries while new results are generated in the background. The character encoding system now prefers UTF-8 to ISO-8859-1. A new patch management system was added. The database browser was overhauled. The port bindings now support IDN hostnames. Many things in RXML were improved.

Changes: Protocol caching was improved. Several issues with the SSL protocol were fixed. Reporting of error conditions for RXML tags was improved. Various minor bugs in RXML tags were fixed: <cache>, <gtext>, <insert>, <email>, <emit>, <vinput>, and <sscanf>. Some memory leaks were fixed. Configuration files are now more XML-compliant. Timezone data was updated. Support for Unicode in MySQL was improved. A race-condition in gethostby{name,addr}() was fixed. Support for PostgreSQL was improved.

Changes: Support for LDAPS was improved. Options for logging were increased. The administration interface was improved. Several image-cache related fixes were made. Some minor performance increases were made. Lots of minor bugs were fixed.

Changes: Improved protocol-level cache for better Cookie and Vary header compatibility. Fixes for keep-alive in combination with byte ranges. Unicode support for MySQL connections. Improved robustness in the LDAP interface with regard to broken character encodings. Extended access logging format variables. A log file compression option. Improved support for EPS and TIFF. Many minor bugfixes.

Changes: This release adds support for IPv6, support for chained encodings, detection of conflicting modules, and support for automatic generation of the HTTP/1.1 Vary header. It improves cache-strategies, diagnostics, and support for SSL.
