RText is a fully customizable programmer's text editor. Some of its features include syntax highlighting, editing multiple documents at once, printing and print preview, find/replace/find in files dialogs, undo/redo, and online help.

Changes: In this release, bookmarking support, "mark occurrences", and PHP highlighting were added. The Source Browser can now use standard ctags as well as Exuberant ctags. Middle mouse button clicks now close tabs. There were a few bugfixes and some translation updates.


Changes: Opening and saving remote files via FTP has been added, as well as Ruby and Makefile syntax highlighting. Hyperlinks are recognized and clickable in the editor. Other minor feature enhancements.


Changes: This release fixes a bug in RTF copy and paste, updates XML syntax highlighting, and adds automatic regular expression checking when doing regex search and replace.


Changes: Changes for the upcoming Nimbus Look and Feel (Java 6u10) and the ability to copy text from the editor as RTF, which is useful when putting code snippets into applications like Outlook.


Changes: This release adds JSP syntax highlighting, greatly improves Perl highlighting, and adds a "Favorites" feature to the file chooser.
