SCT (Sphene Community Tools) is a collection of Django applications that are designed to be easily pluggable into any Django project. It currently consists of a Wiki and a Board application. It contains an example project that allows users to create a community Web site containing the Wiki and Board applications without any further coding/configuration changes.

Changes: This release adds comment support for wiki snips and a search engine for the forum based on xapian. It contains several compatibility fixes for Django 1.0.


Changes: This version contains two new applications and new translations (German, Polish, and Korean). New features include role permissions to allow granular permission settings for the forum, tagging of wiki snips, and improved user profiles. The two new applications are the LinkList and Blog which are both based in the forum to demonstrate what can be done by creating customized Category Types.


Changes: This release contains many new user requested features and performance improvements. New features include avatars for user profiles, "Hot Threads", moving threads between categories, and much more.


Changes: This release adds support for generating PDFs from wiki snips, allows modifications by anonymous users using captchas, adds a new redirect wiki macro to create aliases for snip names, and adds other minor feature enhancements and bugfixes.
