smbldap-tools
SMBLDAP-TOOLS is a package containing some useful scripts for managing users and groups with LDAP and Samba. They can be used to add, delete, and modify users and groups.

Changes: The configuration script has been updated. It can also configure a new parameter userHomeDirectoryMode to set the default home directory mode. The old directory configuration path ( / etc/smbldap-tools/) can now be used.

Changes: The configuration script has now optional parameters which are loaded from the Samba configuration file. A suffix with more or less than two domain component can be used.

i havent been able to reach it the past 24 hours or so.
Affects also portage users.
