Changes: The layer configuration window has been enhanced to show the layer and data type numbers in the loaded map table, as well as unmapped layers. An abstract versus layout comparator has been implemented that allows automatically comparing all macros in a LEF with the corresponding GDSII cell, based on comparison of obstruction and port geometries. SoC GDS is now also available under Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 in 64-bit mode.

Changes: This release features the annotation of netlist names on the layout in order to extend and simplify the viewing by designers of hierarchical nets, thereby allowing users to click on one polygon and display all the equipotent polygons for direct exploration of an annotated GDSII. It also implements handling of datatypes for the XOR and GDSOUT features.

Changes: This version implements the display of markers from a GDSII file on another one, for display of DRC or XOR differences directly on the layout, as well as the ability to browse through displayed markers, for instance in order to scan through all the displayed DRC errors or XOR differences.

Changes: This release implements hierarchical selection and highlighting of networks by name throughout the hierarchy, LVS Socket generation in batch mode, and a dimmed display mode to allow highlighting of nets, instances, etc. by dimming the surrounding objects while maintaining the object colors instead of using a specific color for highlighting purposes.
