Since Solar Empire became public domain earlier this summer, different developers split their efforts to form new projects. Of these, M1SE is by far the most promising.

Due to be released in a few short days, M1 is the result of a dated doccument, known as the milestone one.doc, which specifies the author's (Bryan Livingston of cooltext.com) original intentions for the game. If you know PHP and wish to help, please contact me for more details.
