sysstat complements Solaris' system tools for performance analysis. It presents all key performance metrics on a VT100 terminal and has the possibility to toggle its view between different hosts.

Changes: This release pdates stdout mode, fixes regression (%CPU and %MEM going crazy), adds option to suppress gathering of disk statistics, and has a Solaris 8/gcc4 build fix.


Changes: Several minor cleanups, build fixes, lint cleanups, compatibility updates were made for OpenSolaris, Solaris 8, and Sun Studio Express. A workaround for an mpt sas issue was added.


Changes: An invalid assertion concerning maximum CPUID was fixed. This may have caused a SegV when sysstat was compiled against Solaris 8. Some minor cleanups were made.


Changes: This release adds multi-rate support, sorts CPU rates by idle time if more than four CPUs are online, and displays only four lines of CPU rate info per default (can be toggled with the C key).


Changes: An assertion was fixed so that zfs pools can have zero filesystems. Network I/O was fixed, showing effectively double throughput.
