Solex
Solex is a Web application testing tool built as a plug-in for the Eclipse IDE. Based on a built- in Web proxy and a concept of extraction, replacement, and assertion rules, Solex provides functions to record a client session, adjust it according to various parameters and replay it. This is typically done in order to ensure the non-regression of a Web application's behavior.

Changes: The built-in proxy has been completely rewritten and now includes full support for HTTP features such as redirect, keep-alive, and more. An intuitive helper has also been added to help the user prepare the regular expression based rules.

Changes: Pre-defined variables were added and may be populated with arbitrary values. Multipart contents are now handled, and rules can be bound to each part. Filters which allow one to enable/disable/delete requests in a recorded scenario were added. A view which is dedicated to the HTTP message body was added, and XML streams in this view are displayed as a tree. Server-compressed responses are now prevented by altering the Accept-Encoding header.
