Sshpass is a tool for non-interactivly performing password authentication with SSH's so called "interactive keyboard password authentication". Most users should use SSH's more secure public key authentication instead.

Changes: Support was added for reporting the reason for failure through the program's return codes. All outstanding bugs were fixed. The password is hidden from the command line, which is not a perfect security measure, but better than nothing.
