SSHTerm

SSHTerm is a fully-featured Java SSH terminal that provides a whole range of features including port forwarding, password and public-key authentication, full clipboard support, record and playback input/output, and the ability to load/save connection settings to a file. The SSH terminal is now seamlessly integrated with a secure VNC viewer, a port forwarding manager, and a full SFTP client.

Changes: This release marks a change in software distribution policy. The installation is now catered for using the ZeroG installer, providing distributions for Linux and Windows with and without the Java 1.4.2 VM. It also includes integration with the rewritten SHiFT SFTP client for quick and easy file transfers from your terminal sessions. Full screen terminal operation has also been reworked, providing greatly improved and more stable full screen sessions.

Changes: In this version, the JDK 1.3.1 is now supported. Support is also included for HTTP and SOCKS proxies. A commands tab was added to connection properties allowing configuration of command execution once connected.

Changes: This is the first release of the SSHTerm signed applet. The applet retains much of the functionality of the full SSHTerm application, less that which was deemed unsuitable for inclusion within the applet.

Old and unmaintained
The SSH VNC Java applet is nice but has a bug that makes it inconvenient.
