Changes: Background music was added. Player stats were moved from the character window to the side panel. A dragbar for making the game screen smaller was added. A new quest was added with a new NPC in Ados forest. Athor labyrinth was redrawn. The H2 database is supported to simplify setting up your own server. Ignored players are drawn as black forms. A problem in which leander would steal all the pizzas of a player who has failed the quest previously was fixed. An account login history was added to the Web site.


Changes: Budding salesmen, there is help at hand for make your trading smooth. Harold will be your middle-man: you tell him what price you want to sell your item for, and he will take it from you. Anyone who comes to ask him what offers he has recorded has the chance to buy your item. Once your item is sold, Harold will give you the price that you asked for it. He's new to the job, so he's only accepting 3 offers per person so that he doesn't overload himself with work.


Changes: Client improvements have been the major changes of 0.79. While you are playing you may notice an improvement in your client's performance, particularly if you run Ubuntu 9.10 with nvidia drivers on Sun's JDK.


Changes: Three years ago Susi was captured on her way back from the Semos Mine Town revival party. She was missing for two years and there was no party during that time - all of Ados searched for her. Last year, she was found aboard a pirate ship by players. You can now join Susi at the Semos Mine Town Revival Weeks and play tic tac toe, try a puzzle, play a treasure hunt game, hire a fun outfit, and most importantly, make friends with Susi.


Changes: The corpse of a raid creature is bound to the player taking hits. Items now have a minimum level, which means that they are less effective if the player using them is less than the minimum level. You can now buy flower seeds to plant on fertile ground. Lots of new artwork was added. Several behind-the-scenes tweaks were done.


Changes: Bad karma costs you more when you die. The gate keeper in hell has found his riddle book. There are new houses in Ados. There are new high-level creatures.


Changes: Adventure island (a bit like DM but with points). Rare monsters and a couple of new boss monsters. A new outfit lender. Changes to NPC reactions to player killers. Marked scrolls are no longer bound. Major changes to buying and owning houses: taxes are charged, you can sell a house back to the city, locks can be changed, and doors can be knocked on by visitors and players inside house will be notified. There are many more updates.


Changes: dagobert creates vaults for players, so they can access semos bank slot without spies. /me shows emotes. The chat log can be saved by right clicking on gamelog, and is saved in home/stendhal/gamelog.txt. Susi and her father live in a house in Ados, there is a special outfit lender Liliana in magic city, and a Deathmatch recruiter walks in the safer (upper) part of the swamp. Find out which heroes are in the deathmatch already by asking Thonatus, the recruiter. The /ban reason is no longer eaten on the client side. The soup making exploit to boost karma is fixed. Zara re-offers the quest if the player previously rejected it.


Changes: New players start in the Semos guardhouse. Hayunn Naratha gives an initial quest to new players, which is a weekly item quest from Kirdneh museum. New zones were added at the river zone west of Kirdneh, a sewer system was added below Ados, an abandoned keep full of dwarves and soldiers was put below Ados mountain, a Yeti cave was added under Semos mountain. Item and creature names no longer contain any underscores to form compound names.


Changes: This release adds an image viewer (ask Monogenes about a map of Semos), as well as a SignLessor NPC so that players can rent a sign for a day. There is improved interaction with NPCs (for example, they understand numbers spelled out as words). Jailing of offline players has been added, freeing even after the server restarts. Persistent, non-player related data (zone storage) has been implemented. 26.7% of the code (block counts) is now covered by automated Junit tests.
