Version 5.3.4 of Sympa
This release fixes some bugs in the latest
5.3.3 release.

Changes: After 6 weeks of beta testing, during which Sympa was used on production servers, most of the bugs seem to have been fixed. This release also includes an updated German translation and some modifications in the installation process and directory organization.

Changes: This release introduces deep changes in Sympa, including better handling of message sending, an improved Web interface, and improved administration functionalities, especially for messages moderation, antispam, and Web interface customization.

Changes: Since version 5.4, bugs were fixed and the translations were improved for most of the supported languages.

Changes: The use of HTTP session was introduced in order to replace a lot of cookies, for better usability and security. Protections have been added, including the support of the LDAPS protocol, along with XSS and session hijacking protection. Five new languages are included in the distribution, and many more have been updated. The performance, mainly regarding the Web interface, has been significantly improved. A significant effort was made to close most reported bugs.
