GNU texinfo

"Texinfo" is a documentation system that uses a single source to produce both on-line information (info, HTML, XML, Docbook) and printed output (DVI, PDF).

Changes: This release adds several new commands, such as "@euro", "@abbr", and "@slanted". HTML output of makeinfo has been enhanced for backward and XHTML compatibility. Docbook output now recognizes more image formats. texi2dvi has a new option "--recode". The texi2pdf script has been added for convenience. Some build enhancements have been integrated.
