tftp-hpa is an enhanced version of the BSD TFTP client and server. It possesses a number of bugfixes and enhancements over the original. It has been made portable and will work on pretty much any modern Unix variant.

Changes: The use of getaddrinfo() was improved on machines without AI_ADDRCONFIG or AI_CANONNAME. The "rollover" option was implemented. PMTU is now correctly disabled in standalone mode.


Changes: Support was added for IPv6, for systems with editline instead of readline, and for long options in the server.

Changes: The "-L" option for preventing the server from daemonizing itself was added. Parallel building was fixed.
