Changes: All extensions can now be enabled per installation. Not all of these gems have been fully brought back to life. With ogr you can still open up all formats this powerful library can read. Wms currently needs a makeover, which is on the list for the next release. A number of defects have been fixed.


Changes: This is the first development release towards new release series 1.2. Among the new features are resizable point symbols, improved raster support with transparency, wxPython 2.6 support, a number of new extensions (of which OGR-extension connects various new data sources) and better PostGIS support.


Changes: The Spanish, French, Russian, and German translations were updated. Hungarian and Brazillian Portuguese translations were added. The gns2shp extensions were updated. The svgexport extension was added to export maps and legends in SVG. Thuban now remembers directories during a session. Massive improvements have been done to the PostGIS interface. A number of known bugs have been fixed.


Changes: This release includes map navigation, object selection and identification, a legend and legend editor including automated class generation, printing, management of projections, multi-language support, table management, various supported data sources, and an API for add-ons including various examples.


Changes: This release includes faster rendering, some experimental extensions (importing of APR files, GNS to Shapefile, WMS client) and EPSG support, numerous fixes, and an optional, experimental edit-feature for tables. This is also the first release candidate for 1.0.
