TkCVS is a cross-platform, Tcl/Tk-based GUI for the CVS and Subversion configuration management systems. It displays the status of the files in the current working directory, and provides buttons and menus to execute CVS, Subversion, or RCS commands on the selected files. The Log Browser displays a branch diagram of the revision history. The Module Browser extends CVS with facilities for a user-friendly listing of modules in the repository. TkDiff is included for browsing and merging your changes.

Changes: The Branch Browser can now draw merge arrows for merges tracked by Subversion 1.5's mergeinfo property and CVSNT's mergepoint feature. The work-around of using tags is no longer necessary if your Subversion or CVSNT server and client support their own merge tracking. The Branch Browser has a new search ability, so you can highlight a revision on the diagram by its version, date, tag, or author. If your SVN repository has a structure that's functionally similar to trunk, branches, and tags but with different names, you can tell TkCVS about it by setting variables.

Changes: For this release, the merge dialogs have been re-worked. Now there's only one dialog for merging with or without tagging, which you OK when you're ready to commit the merges. There was a minor rework of the main browser windows so that highlighting goes across all columns. The release also contains bugfixes.

Changes: This release has quite a few bugfixes, notably a work-around for the date format problem seen at locations with a negative offset from GMT. There are several minor improvements to the Subversion Branch Browser. There is a new command-line option to start TkCVS with the Annotation Browser. A contrib directory has been added, containing useful adjunct programs.

Changes: Automatic tagging of merges is now implemented for Subversion, and the Working Directory browser observes the svn_ignore property.

Changes: The focus of this update is the Branch Diagram Browser. Missing merge arrows are fixed, and the Branch Browser in Subversion can now diff a single selection in the tree with the working file.
