Changes: Many new features, including plugins, fullscreen resolution change, and support for the latest xinelib, are included in this release.


Changes: This release adds the Vanity webcam utility, a Nautilus properties page, some options to configure the visual effects more precisely, and a buffering dialog for when opening network files. The Real decoders' path is really set, and the DLLs from /usr/lib/win32 are linked on startup. A black background is drawn on the video widget on startup. Resizing to sizes smaller than the default dimensions has been fixed. A crash when using the "Open Location..." dialog has been fixed. Playback is not started on startup when restoring playlists. There are Gstreamer backend updates.


Changes: This release adds an experimental GStreamer backend (pass --enable-gstreamer to configure), re-enabling of visuals on the fly, a TV-out feature (via DXR3 or NVTV), playlist reordering, saving, and automatic restoration on startup, a button to get a filemanager to add new proprietary plugins (DLLs and Real Media .so files), a deinterlacing setting, a popup menu on the video canvas, the ability to hide everything but the video canvas, and various bugfixes.

Changes: TotemCdSelection widget fixes (CD drive detection for Linux systems), allowing it to compile again on glib 2.x-based systems.
