ttylinux is a minimalistic GNU/Linux distribution that can fit in 8 MB of disk space. It contains software needed to log in to an ISP by ethernet, modem, or ISDN and surf the Web. The minimum hardware requirement is a 486SX with 24 MB of RAM for a ramdisk setup, or 16 MB of RAM for a hard disk setup.

Your project is a great starting point for other projects. And it is realy fast... only a few seconds with cd-boot or from compact flash up to the login.

I will as I use ttylinux as my _fastest_ boot GNU\linux on laptops and desktops. I do admit that I change it a little to be more UK ish than de.
Still an execellent mini-distro.
