unattended-gui is a system to support unattended installations of Linux and Windows on multiple machines. It is also a collection of scripts for inventory, uninstallation, and other add-ons like dhcp-ldap, php-ssh, samhain, syslog-ng, switch managment, and an LDAP browser.

Changes: OS definitions can be copied. 7z can be used to compress install files, but this has not been tested. The Ubuntu 9.04 desktop template was added. Multicasting of installation files is supported. The boot stuff was updated to 1.2 (kernel 2.6.30). A new logo was added to each theme.

Changes: This release adds support for installation of Vista/2008/Windows7. It adds support for installation of Ubuntu (at this time, there is only a template for ubuntu-server). It has new profiles to easily back up and restore machines, and a new profile for automatic/interactive inventory of new machines. There are fixes for several bugs.

A new API for the wiki and a new quwiki module (also needed to view the documentation). networkinfo has been updated. A new connector for Bugzilla. A feature to send WoL packages (testet) in local networks via the broadcast address.
