Usermin is a Web interface that can be used by any user on a UNIX system to easily perform tasks like reading mail, setting up SSH, or configuring mail forwarding. It can be thought of as a simplified version of Webmin designed for use by normal users rather than system administrators.

Changes: This release improves character set support when reading and replying to mail, makes mail filtering by header easier, improves the search function, and more.


Changes: This release includes major internal changes in the way modules load common Webmin libraries, which should reduce memory use and speed up the UI. It also improves the UI and functions of the SSH Configuration module, and fixes several small issues with the Read Mail module.


Changes: Sent email in HTML format now has a text-format version attached automatically as well. Filters based on a message's sender, recipient, or subject can now be easily created. Allowed and denied addresses tabs have been added to the Address Book page. The search for messages from the same sender in Maildir folders has been fixed. The UI in the SpamAssassin and PostgreSQL modules has been improved. The Java SSH applet has been updated to the latest version.


Changes: This release supports non-ASCII autoreply email, makes GPG encryption and signing of text easier, adds support for SSH 2 keys, and more.


Changes: This release preserves read flags when moving mail between folders, better handles MIME-words encoded headers, allows scheduled background downloads, and better supports SSH version 2 key generation.

This is one of the best tools for linux users in a work environment. There are still some cool things to be done, but for now, it rocks.
