Changes: This release contains new documentation for the administrator, a translation to French, improvements to make it easier to translate to other languages, better handling of the photo type preference, and should work with "register globals = off" in php.ini. Changes: This is the first release of what will eventually become version 2. It has no more frames, uses stylesheets, has support for multiple languages, the administration interface is integrated with main album, more configuration is possible through the web interface, there are no more restrictions on directory names, you can track people who appear in the photos, can add arbitrary set of keywords to each photo, can search based on keyword, person, or photo type, you have more control over users and cookies (can set user restrictions), and there are more statistics on photo album usage. This version requires PHP4 and PostgreSQL 7.

        Great, but...
This works great once you set it up. There is a severe lack of documentation, though. Once you figure it out it's the greatest thing since sliced cheese!

NOTE: The scripts that are included work well enough, but what isn't obvious is the need for kdc2jpeg which is part of kdc2tiff (even if you don't use .kdc files). This seems to be a utility also created by the author of vphotoalb. Find it at:
        http://kdc2tiff.sourceforge.net (http://kdc2tiff.sourceforge.net).

        Good luck with the rest.
