Wally
Wally is a Qt4 wallpaper changer using multiple sources like files, folders, FTP remote folders, Flickr, Yahoo!, Panoramio, Pikeo, Ipernity, and Photobucket images. It is available in many languages. Supported Linux window managers are GNOME, KDE3, KDE4, XFCE4, BlackBox, FluxBox, Window Maker, and FVWM (experimental).

Changes: The Mac OS X script for wallpaper change now works properly. The color button is now shown correctly with all GUI styles. The "About" dialog now can be closed under MacOS X. Empty "Remote folder" items are now correctly rejected. Wally's single instance in Mac OS X is now properly detected. Annoying issues with the KDE4 WallyPlugin have been solved. There are some cosmetic changes.

Changes: Empty items are now discarded. Single instance check in Linux now has been fixed. Only available free space on desktop is used. Pikeo now resets page count search after an empty... result. Free disk space (at least 20 megs) is checked for availability before saving photos. EXIF tags are analyzed in every plugin, and corrections are applied where needed. Photobucket has no throttle limit anymore, watermark on photo is applied. More code restyling. Fixed plural form in translations. Added Portuguese (Brazil) translation. D-BUS is no longer used for WallyPlugin. Removed QCA dependency.

Changes: This release solves issues only if you use it with KDE4. WallyPlugin is now compiled without debug information, D-BUS access rights are now set up correctly, and KDE4 installation paths are now detected properly.

Changes: Wally's engine has been totally rewritten, for better stability and better coding structure in plugin development. UI partial restyling and improvements. KDE4 is supported. Mac OS X is supported (experimental). FTP remote folders can be used as image sources. Multi-language support (English, Italian, Spanish, and Russian). Bugfixes.
