WebIssues is a system that supports team collaboration across the Internet. It can be used for storing bugs and other information with customizable attributes, comments, and file attachments. The server can be installed on any host with PHP and MySQL, PostgreSQL, Firebird, or MS SQL Server. The client is a native desktop application for both Windows and Linux.

Changes: This release candidate features minor usability improvements and bugfixes. A new dashboard view was introduced and the behavior of the single window mode of user interface was improved. A bug related to compiling on Qt 4.4 or earlier was fixed.


Changes: This release introduces a number of improvements related to usability. It is now possible to select and copy text in the issue details view and to change the layout of that view so that issue details are displayed side by side or above the history. The default sort order can now be changed for issues of each type. A bug related to handling cookies was fixed.


Changes: This first beta release of WebIssues Client 0.9.5 features a new three-pane layout of the main window which resembles many email clients. It's now possible to work with folders and issues without opening additional windows. The old single pane layout is still available and can be activated using the settings window. This release also adds Czech and Portuguese translations and fixes a crash occurring in some cases when deleting an attribute.


Changes: This release provides client-side support for email notifications and user preferences introduced in version 0.8.4 of the WebIssues Server. It adds the possibility to mark watched issues as read or unread and extends program settings with switching the language and limiting size of comments. It also adds command line options for overriding default file locations. This release also features the Portable WebIssues Client, which can be carried on a portable device and used on any Windows computer.


Changes: This release introduces email notifications about new issues in selected folders and modifications of selected issues. Notifications can be configured by individual users by the user preferences feature. There are two mailing engines allowing to send email notifications from both the local host and an external SMTP server. This release also adds support for the Firebird database. In addition, it fixes adding large comments and includes a few optimizations. In order to use the new features added in this release, WebIssues Client version 0.9.4 is needed.
