Changes: A fix for transparency of the tray icon on Linux. New activity monitoring for Windows. Improved 64-bit and Vista support. Exercises are randomized. The language can be selected in the preferences (Windows). The option 'Start Workrave when Windows starts' has been added. Extended DBUS support on Unix. An initial OS X port. Networking support can now be enabled without accepting incoming connections from other Workraves. A sound has been added that indicates the next step in the exercise. The volume and all sounds can be configured. A new sound theme has been added.


Changes: The task manager is never blocked by Workrave anymore. A workaround was made for focus loss on Vista. A Slovenian translation was added. Breaks that have "suspend timer when inactive" disabled were fixed. Windows responsiveness under high load was improved. The mode menu was fixed. The GNOME applet no longer hangs. The GNOME applet no longer crashes Workrave. Crashes during startup on Windows were fixed. The "end-of-microbreak" sound was fixed. A bug in multi-head support where Workrave showed multiple windows on a single screen was fixed. Locking on GNOME with xscreensaver installed was fixed.


Changes: This version contains many new translations: Italian, Chinese, Slovak, Greek, Turkish, Japanese, Bulgarian, and Hungarian. More polish on the applets was done (e.g. vertical applet support), and there are some bugfixes.


Changes: New Swedish and Catalan translations, and updates to the Czech translation. This release no longer consumes 100% CPU if a break is started while the screen is locked. A bug that could cause breaks to stop running when 'Suspend timer while inactive' was disabled. Support has been added for storing configuration in an .ini file, and for configuring the data storage directory (this can be used to run Workrave from a memory stick). GNOME screen saver support has been added. The applet popup menu is now accessible when all timers are hidden.


Changes: A crash when using a third party GTK+ runtime has been fixed. A bug that caused status windows to be disabled when the micro-break timer was hidden has been fixed. There are translation fixes and better hibernate/standby support on Unix.


Changes: This release adds additional feedback when becoming active during a break, current mode visualization in the system tray icon, a "Restbreak now" button, improved KDE support (a native KDE applet and KDE sound events), decent tooltips for the Workrave system tray icon, and lots of new translations (Basque, Lithuanian, Portuguese, Norwegian, Czech, and Hebrew).


Changes: This minor update adds a Brazilian Portuguese translation and some bugfixes.


Changes: A bug was introduced in version 1.6.0 which could cause the status window to disappear. This is only a minor bugfix release that addresses this problem.


Changes: The Windows version includes a taskbar applet version of the status window. Timers can be configured to ignore activity. The full-screen "Block all" mode has been improved. Chinese, Russian, and French translations have been added.


Changes: A new "Block mode" option was added, ranging from no blocking (break windows can be freely dragged around) to full input and screen blocking. Multihead support was added for Windows. Support for suspending (to RAM) was improved. "Shut down" and "Lock" buttons were added to the break windows. Stability on Windows was improved.
