xmlroff
xmlroff is a fast, multilingual, multi-platform XSL formatter that transforms XSL-FO documents (or any XML with an appropriate XSL stylesheet) into PDF or PostScript. It aims to excel at DocBook formatting, and it integrates easily with other programs and with scripting languages.

Changes: SVG external graphics are rendered as vectors in the Cairo backend. CFLAGS usage in configure.ac has been fixed. The table column order respects writing mode. A table fix from Debian 494227 has been added.

Changes: The plain BSD license is now used. A version API was added. A segfault which occurred if the input was not an FO document was fixed. An xmlroff.1 man page is now generated. Checking for CUnit was fixed. PNG graphics are rendered in the Cairo backend. Fewer error messages are shown when an image file is not found. The manual was divided into a chapter for the users' guide and a chapter for the developers' guide.

Changes: Cell borders on spanned table cells have been fixed (#93). Cell borders when the last cell in a row is shorter have been fixed (#101). Cell placement when there are multiple intrusions from the previous row has been fixed (#108). 'display-align' has been implemented for fo:table-cell (#107). fo:table-footer has been reordered to appear after fo:table-body (#94).

Changes: A compilation problem which occurred if CUnit was not present was fixed. IDs were added to static XML files. Some table bugs were fixed.
