YAPPA
YAPPA (Yet Another PHP Photo Album) is an easy-to-use online photo gallery. It creates any needed thumbnails for the user on the fly, and adding pictures to your existing gallery is as easy as FTPing to the album directory.

This software had a large amount of bugs. Some were subtle and insignificant, such as placing extra slashes in filesystem paths (ex: /root//foo) to major performance issues such as not optimizing the convert program arguments. This program actually crashed my linux system once before I made changes.
The code was sloppy, and not well commented. After I changed all that and made changes to several pieces, it works well. Overall, this is a great start though. If you are looking for a simple, easy-navigating photoalbum, this is a great place to start, but do not expect this to work right out of the "box".

This is a suberb photo album system. Easy to set up, easy to use, and easy to maintain. It's got a nice clean layout and some very nice features. Hooray!
