Yet Another RSS Reader is an RSS aggregator and reader that displays it's results in the GNOME or KDE system tray (notification area). It uses gtk2-perl.

Changes: This version fixes a few problems with the Online/Offline modes. It also adds a username and password field for HTTP authentication. OPML feed lists can now be imported into Yarssr. Translation support was added, and there were some minor bugfixes.


Changes: The choice between an online and offline mode has been added, along with the ability to start up in offline mode. Feeds that encounter errors in downloading or parsing are now given an error icon. The state of the feeds is stored locally more often.


Changes: This release marks all articles as "new", "unread", or "read"; this information is saved between sessions. Support for Atom feeds has been added. The preferences window has also been redone.


Changes: This release adds the ability to use switches in your browser command. GNOME session support was also added, and the browser is now launched much faster.


Changes: The preferences panel has a completely new interface. The menu now indicates if an article has been read through the use of a check mark. The config is saved more often to avoid lost changes, and the default browser setting is now saved.
