Yawiki is a powerful Wiki system for collaborative document generation. It supports both anonymous and authenticated users. It uses an AreaMap page to generate a hierarchy of pages and navigational elements. It supports page-level access control lists. There is an optional comment system built-in, as well as RSS feeds for individual public pages.

Recent releases

Changes: This version requires Text_Wiki 0.20.1 or later, as it needs the new Plain renderer in that version. A simple search capability was added, which searches page name, title, and body. It is a phrase/keyword search, not a relevance engine. util/buildsearch.php was added to build or rebuild the search table. A search bar was added to the default header template. A margin above the lower link-bar was added in index.tpl.php.

Changes: interwiki_site examples have been added to Yawp.conf-example.php. Pages not on the area map get useful HTML titles now. The default template shows the page title as an H1 tag (when the title is not empty). Full support for free links in content has been added (you still can't use them as AreaMap elements). Hits.php adds "days" and "rate-per-day" columns. An $apiVersion property has been added to yawiki.class.php (read from docs/VERSION). A "Powered by Yawiki" link has been added to the default index.tpl.php. Edit.php now shows the page title in the preview.

Changes: This release adds HTML caching, some minor interface improvements, and some schema changes.

Changes: This release includes major directory structure changes, more generic template include calls, and a new config element, "theme_dir". It removes several config elements made redundant by themes. It is now themeable with Savant 1.5.

Changes: The RSS template and headers have been fixed.

Recent commentsProject is abandoned
Greetings,
After working with this project for some 6hrs. solid.
I can confirm that it cannot possibly work with existing
PHP 4+ versions and the (safely new) versions of the
Pear dependencies this project requires. I have made
repeated attempts to contact the Author (as have
others) all without success. The web site that claims
to run this /actually/ appears to be running Wordpress,
not the yawiki. Usage of the wiki itself at the Authors
home page fail with errors. So it appears that the wiki
doesn't even work at the Authors site either.
I only make these comments in an effort to save
others the loss of time and the frustration associated
with it.
Best wishes.
