yaws
Yaws is a WWW technology with capabilities similar to the combination of Apache with PHP and a database. Yaws runs faster, with smaller footprint, higher scalability, and higher reliability. Subjectively speaking, it uses a more beautiful technique to generate dynamic pages than other similar technologies.

Changes: This release adds several new features such as the ability to have several docroots for a given virtual host, the concept of a redirect map to redirect an entire part of the docroot to another site, and initial WebDAV support. This release also fixes a security bug that allowed an attacker to get the code source of a page by sending a null character at the end of the request.

Changes: This release fixed several bugs with SSL support, the reverse proxy feature, and modules cache management. The shutdown procedure was cleaned-up. The included chat server application was improved. It is now possible to decide how to name the module generated from a dynamic Yaws page.

Changes: This version adds RSS management capabilities, improves the provided applications (Wiki, Webmail) and adds a chat application. It also fixes several bugs in the embedded mode and in the reverse proxy code.

Changes: Configuration changes may now be made without stopping the running systems. Virtual servers can be added, removed, and changed without affecting traffic.

Changes: This is a bugfix and documentaion release. All Web documents are now nicely formatted with CSS and XHTML 1.0. A new feature allows directory contents to be zipped together automatically.
