ZMailer is an internet message transfer agent. It is intended for gateways or mail servers or other large site environments that have extreme demands on the abilities of the mailer. It was motivated by the problems of the Sendmail design in such situations. It is intended and designed as a multi-protocol mailer. The only protocol supported in this distribution is RFC822 (and variations).

Changes: This concentrates on incoming SMTP service processing: the code for incoming SMTP traffic's SFP filter was updated according to discussions in the ZMailer-list. An experimental "distcache" interface was added for clustering TLS protection of the SMTP sessions. Perl embedding hooks for message address reception were added, but are still evolving.

Changes: This is a stable release. All known and suspected security threats were plugged.
