But.. this looks a lot like an older version of PHP-Nuke which uses mysql and php for backends. The layout is the same, the boxes are labeled the same, catagories, polls, themes, who is online,... all the same.
I commend you for your attempt but I don't see the reason for re-writing something that has already been done.
