Prince is a batch formatter for converting XML and HTML into PDF by applying Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). It prints any XML document, with special support for XHTML, DocBook, and SVG, which can be used in combination with other XML languages.
Release focus: Major feature enhancements
Changes:
This release supports images in JPEG, PNG, and
TIFF format. It supports many new CSS3 Paged Media
properties for creating page headers and footers
and controlling page numbering. Many other
enhancements have been made, including entity
loading from a DTD catalog and improved style
sheets for XHTML and DocBook.
