About:
LAM/MPI is an implementation of the Message Passing Interface (MPI) parallel standard that is especially friendly to clusters. It includes a persistent runtime environment for parallel programs, support for all of MPI-1, and a good chunk of MPI-2, such as all of the dynamic functions, one-way communication, C++ bindings, and MPI-IO.
Release focus: Minor bugfixes
Changes:
This version fixes a broken libtool 1.5 test, does not
propagate $LAM_MPI_SESSION_PREFIX, and fixes a
minor blcr checkpoint/restart errors. It allows resizing of
fd_sets on platforms that allow it, fixes timeouts in the
lamd code, adds missing SYSV libraries on platforms that
need it, and looks for g77 before f77 for the default
Fortran compilers.
