IPChains
by Larry Cody - Jul 15th 2001 20:50:30
Thanks for a good, working firewall for Linux. The ease with which the
program installs, along with the easy to understand documentation, provides
us Linux users with security akin to Raptor and Checkpoint.

IPChains is easier than IPFwAdm
by Chris Pimlott - Mar 25th 1999 03:51:25
I agree, I had a much easier time setting up firewalling under ipchains
than ipfwadm. ipchains has some nice powerful options that are quite
easier to configure in only a few commands... I found I needed fewer
ipchains commands to do what I was doing with ipfwadm.
