About:
gDVB is a Java-GTK2 frontend for DVB management.
It uses Mplayer as a backend and allows you to
create a favorite channels list, switch between
different satellites, scan channels, and monitor
the signal level.
Release focus: Major feature enhancements
Changes:
This release adds a lot of new stuff like a
detailed view of channel information panels,
verbose messages, and notification of player
status in the statusbar and ~/.gdvb/status. Now
you can create your hand-made DVB transponder
descriptors easily. It also fixes some eye-candy
bugs. A .desktop file was added for freedesktop
integration. Some initial parts of the streaming
and publishing engine have been done. The
"uninstall" target was added in the makefile.
