About:
Card Services for Linux is a complete PCMCIA or PC Card support package. It includes a set of loadable kernel modules that implement a version of the Card Services applications program interface, a set of client drivers for specific cards, and a card manager daemon that can respond to card insertion and removal events, loading and unloading drivers on demand. It supports hot swapping of most card types, so cards can be safely inserted and ejected at any time.

Release focus: Minor feature enhancements

Changes:
Drivers updated. Compatibility problems with the latest kernels have been fixed.

[»] Driver for Target 24011 10/100 PCMCIA CARD
by Victor - Mar 2nd 2003 16:38:46

I read on SUPPORTED.CARDS that Target 24011 10/100 PCMCIA CARD is not supported... but Target 24007 yes.

I download the tar.gz file and installed on my laptop system... but I can't configure my pcmcia like a 24007 card. This card is not listed!...

Somebody can explain how to I can do this?

I use a Red Hat 8.0 distribution....

Thanks a lot in advance....

by MSilveira - Jun 19th 2002 11:52:20

Anybody has any idea if 802.11a and 802.11g works or will ever work under linux?

The technology i've seen out there is creepy: fake 100Mbit, non-compatible inter-companies proprietary standards.

This sux a lot

I noticed noone has posted any comments on freshmeat in regards to this package. I want to let you know, and I am sure I speak for many in saying "You are doing a damn good job."

I second that. This package is a pleasure to use on the laptops I have to maintain at work.
