CAKE (Key Addressed Crypto Encapsulation) is a bunch of Python and C++ for implementing the CAKE protocol. The CAKE protocol is a protocol in which all messages have source and destination addresses that are public keys. This is in the same way that IP packets have a source and destination address that is an IP address.
Deliver Maildir is a tool that delivers messages from STDIN to a Maildir format mail directory with support for committing or rolling back the delivery. The commit/rollback instruction is accomplished by sending signals to the process. It also contains example code for using it from various scripting languages.
The StreamModule system is a result of several different ideas about how distributed (especially widely distributed) systems should function. Instead of attempt ing to hide asynchronous behavior behind a synchronous facade, it attempts to make it easier to write programs that deal with asynchronous behavior. It achieves this using event-driven programming combined with a pipeline-like architecture.
