The Coral Tree Library Set includes modules for basic operating system abstractions, general purpose templates and classes, well behaved application modules, platform independent builder, thread abstraction, network abstractions, event/window system abstraction, and a widget set for the event/window system abstraction. The library set now also includes the distributed shared memory modules.
ctGUI is the window system abstraction and associated widget sets in the Coral Tree Library Set. The window system abstraction currently supports X/OpenGL, X/Xlib, Win32/OpenGL, and Win32/GDI (window & event system/drawing mechanism). ctGUI (aka LEWDS and EW/WDS/IWS) provides yet another approach in addition to the approaches taken by Qt, gtk, MFC, etc.
Free Electron is a C++ framework facilitating reuse and integration for R&D projects such as simulation, AI, and visual effects. Core systems include dynamic plugins, strong component model, and a fast runtime database, all highly extensible. Free Electron uses Boost for threading and some containers. Builds are done with Python scripts (simple at the module level, like Jam, but in Python), and supports distcc, ccache, and gch files. Integration has been demonstrated with DevIL, Lua, ODE, OpenAL, OpenGL, OSG, SDL (image and joy), and X11/GDI.
FvwmPartition is a FVWM2 module that allows the user to build a structure of panes in a fairly arbitrary manner. Windows can be attached to these panes and manipulated together by dragging the bars that separate the panes. Windows in a specific pane can selected by tapping the labels on the parent bar or moved by drag-and-dropping the labels.
